It doesn't look infected, but you need to put antibiotic ointment (like neosporin) on it to ward off infection. Keeping it open and as dry as possible is a good idea too, but if you need to be around anything messy (uhhhh like gardening??) keep it covered with a bandage or taped-on gauze. Otherwise, it does look like it's healing (scabs are good)
